Alameda County Sheriff's Office, CA - CORE
CORE Home MenuOutpatient Clinic
One of the underlying principles guiding CORE’s approach to serving the community is that many of those that encounter Law Enforcement could benefit from access to behavioral health resources. CORE’s Outpatient Clinic provides such resources through direct referral from CORE Law Enforcement units, County mental health referral and self-referral. Licensed CORE therapists and registered Associate Therapists with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, provide individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, crisis intervention, and case management services to children, youth, adults, couples and families residing in Alameda County. CORE offers services based on Evidence-Based Practices (EBP) that are culturally sensitive, solution-focused, and strength-based approaches to help clients resolve challenges such as: violence, trauma, abuse, family conflicts, transitioning from jail or prison back into the community, addiction and substance use issues, academic and behavioral problems, bullying, gang involvement, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. Services are offered through Medi-Cal, an affordable sliding fee scale, or at no fee for clients eligible for therapy through the California Victim Compensation program (CALVP).
Services are offered in English and Spanish. To access services please call (510) 667-3642 or email CORE-BHU@acgov.org.
